Location: Richmond, Australia

Background

Leading marketing services and print communications company IVE Group partnered with Amicus and Hot Black to design and construct their new office in the Richmond, Melbourne business hub at 658 Church St.

IVE Group’s new 1,000m2 office in the centre of Melbourne’s creative district was built to bring four of their businesses together under the new IVE Group umbrella. With their new location, IVE Group have positioned themselves alongside some of Australia’s largest retail companies.

Solution

Meeting the business needs of IVE Group to accommodate the move of four business into one collaborative environment, while keeping in mind the importance of having quiet spaces, Amicus executed a functional, collaborative workspace. The experienced partnership of Amicus and Hot Black in design and construction set the project up for success from the start.

The design concept was based around a centralised timber-cladded corridor feature which housed the executive offices, meeting rooms, boardrooms and quiet spaces. The surrounding area was designed to be an open workspace with workstations, collaborative spaces and a large breakout kitchen.

Result

A functional and collaborative workspace with the inclusion of a spacious breakout area in the office fitout has already paid its dividends for IVE Group. Employees are making the most of this space with none of the previous offices having a large creative and collaborative space previously.
