Location: Perth Australia

Background

Macquarie Media is one of Australia's leading commercial broadcast radio operators, reaching an audience of 1.9 million Australians from their studios in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. With a relationship dating back over 12 years, Macquarie Media appointed Amicus to deliver a comprehensive transformation of their Perth studios, home to Perth's 6PR news talk station.

Solution

Overseeing a multi-stage delivery that not only modernised the studio experience but also ensured the home Perth station remained on-air throughout the project, Amicus was able to meet the challenges throughout every phase. These challenges included minimising construction noise around on-air studios.

Specialist architect Peter L. Brown worked alongside Amicus with interior designers The Bold Collective in a collaboration that ensured state-of-the-art expertise, and Bold's signature warm and natural palette.

I feel that Amicus is working with us, Amicus have our interests at heart.

- Aaron AlphonsoMacquarie Media Chief Technology Officer

Result

The final space delivers an incredible experience for not only Macquarie Media employees but also on-air talent and guests. The state-of-the-art recording studios are adjacent to exceptional break out areas for staff with a flood natural light and a great working atmosphere.
