Background

Yes Digital, a growing digital marketing company, engaged Amicus to facilitate a big move to a new, larger office, with the aspiration of becoming a more modern workplace. The design brief focused on creating an environment to allow for future growth and drive more collaboration.

The fit out project couldn’t have gone any better while working with the team at Amicus. Originally introduced to the design team to help create multiple mockups of the fitout space before entering into lease negotiations helped us visualise the suitability of the space to our needs. We had been in the market for over 9 months prior to being introduced to Amicus and once we started working with their team, we didn’t need to see another commercial space - Alex Frew - Chief Operations Officer, Yes Digital.

Solution

One objective for the new fitout was to retain their current staff but also acquire new talent to support Yes Digital’s business growth. Our in-house Design Team opted for a fresh, modern design enhancing a minimal look and feel. Dark hues spill throughout conveying a touch of elegance and professionalism to the workspace. This combination with wooden flooring and light ceiling detail evokes a sense of freshness for a spacious and comfortable environment. The new fitout clearly characterises the company’s brand and identity.

From the initial discussions and design mockups, we successfully negotiated the lease and start dates. The project management of the fitout was exceptional. With weekly meetings with the Amicus team, onsite build crew and real estate agent ensured that everything ran to our vision of the space against a structured timeline - Alex Frew - Chief Operations Officer, Yes Digital.

Benefit

The new Yes Digital home is fresh and welcoming. Employees are proud of their new workspace and with new breakout areas and meetings rooms, the team can thrive with more collaboration. Additionally, the landlord uses the new space to showcase the building and fitout to new prospective tenants.

Final handover from Amicus to us was impeccable, with the team accommodating all of our last minute requests, nothing felt like it was too much trouble.
