Background
Dexion’s new Melbourne workplace was shaped by a simple motivation, the aim to create a space people genuinely want to return to. As they were relocating within an industrial precinct, the site brought a unique set of challenges. With limited surrounding amenities and a workforce accustomed to flexible working, the workplace needed to offer more than a typical office environment. It needed to feel welcoming, comfortable and considered in supporting both the functional needs of work, and the day-to-day experience of being there.
The project also brought Dexion, their Automated Storage Solutions branch and National Make Good Solutions together under one roof, creating a broader cultural focus around strengthening connection across teams and encouraging greater collaboration between office and warehouse staff. We were engaged to shape a workplace that reflects Dexion’s strong, family-oriented culture while creating a practical environment that feels connected, engaging and grounded in how their people work. With an existing relationship already in place, we had a strong understanding of their people, operations and priorities, allowing us to build on that foundation throughout the project.
