Solution
The workplace was shaped around a central idea inspired by Akaysha’s core business: the battery. Internal offices were conceived as a series of modular, repeatable elements - each operating independently, yet collectively powering the workplace. This organising principle informed both the spatial planning and the construction methodology.
Amicus worked closely with Made For throughout design development and delivery, resolving technical details early to maintain clarity between concept and execution. The internal offices were constructed along a central circulation spine, creating a strong sense of rhythm and order, while translucent wall systems were used to allow light to pass through the space, reinforcing a sense of energy moving across the floorplate.
A library was introduced as a place for focus and reflection, balanced by tiered seating that supports collaboration, presentations and informal gatherings. From a construction perspective, the project demanded precision - from the coordination of services within an exposed ceiling to the delivery of custom joinery and tiered elements. Our team managed the build through a structured, safety-led process, ensuring quality, efficiency and momentum from site establishment through to handover.
