Solution
Our design and delivery teams worked closely with Nokia to enhance both the functionality and aesthetic of their workplace. The refreshed Front of House reception now serves as a welcoming introduction to the brand, anchored by a floor-to-ceiling lighting wall that glows in Nokia’s signature tones. This striking feature creates a modern and refined statement that reflects both their global presence and local identity.
Throughout the office floors, full-height wall graphics showcase Nokia-selected imagery that celebrates the brand’s legacy of innovation and human connection. These visuals bring a striking sense of energy and storytelling to each corridor and breakout zone.
The Boardroom and Breakout areas were reimagined to enhance versatility and connection across the workspace. The operable wall system allows the space to transform effortlessly from an intimate boardroom setting to a large town hall venue. High-performing acoustic treatments preserve privacy and focus when required, while the breakout area fosters a sense of openness and teamwork.
Sustainability was central to every decision. The team incorporated an extensive reuse strategy, including the re-upholstery of existing furniture and the specification of green-rated finishes to reduce waste and environmental impact. This considered approach not only met budgetary goals but also aligned with Nokia’s broader sustainability commitments.
A highlight of the project is the First Nations collaboration with artist Dennis Golding, whose work brings depth, cultural acknowledgment, and a strong sense of place to their Breakout space. This partnership, alongside the inclusion of an Acknowledgment of Country, reinforces Nokia’s commitment to respect, inclusivity, and meaningful community connection.
