Solution
For this project, multiple relationships and stakeholders were meticulously managed by various members of our team to ensure a smooth and transparent end-to-end delivery process. Working alongside our design partner Hot Black, we ensured that each stakeholder’s input, workplace requirements, and delivery considerations were listened to, valued, and integrated into both the design and construction process. Our long-term familiarity with Hydro Tasmania, The GPT Group’s Collins Street building and strong relationships with all project stakeholders positioned us well to achieve an outstanding fitout for Momentum Energy.
While the overall design differs significantly from their previous space, many similar ideas and strategic principles were reimplemented. This includes a feature reception area and standout helpdesk, brought to life through warm timber and a refined mix of terrazzo and textured finishes, defined by the illuminated Hydro Tasmania logo. The space implements numerous purpose-built areas, including a malleable training room, multiple touchdown collaboration zones, and dedicated focus zones, all strategically designed to support a flexible, team-focused environment. Colour is used thoughtfully to differentiate the experiences within these spaces: earthy oranges and reds convey a collaborative and energised atmosphere, while the workstations and focus zones feature green, subtly patterned carpet to evoke a calming environment for cognitive focus.
