Their rapidly evolving team needed a space that would support modern workstyles, improve collaboration, and integrate seamlessly with new technologies. The challenge was to create a flexible and innovative workplace that fostered both individual focus and teamwork, all while addressing specific needs for acoustic treatment, physical storage solutions, and technology integration.
Amicus developed a comprehensive design strategy focused on decluttering workstations, diversifying office spaces, and improving the overall functionality of the office.
Special attention was given to improving acoustics and creating an environment conducive to focused work. Semi-enclosed collaboration areas were enhanced with acoustic curtains, and additional phone booths were installed to allow for private conversations.
Under-desk storage caddies on wheels, fixed under-desk storage options, and movable shelving units were designed to keep the office clutter-free and adaptable. Larger storage cabinets, tambour units, and additional shelving in the computer room provided even more space to accommodate the technical needs of the team, while keeping technology and cables discreetly concealed.
To encourage physical space flexibility, the workspace was designed to allow for multiple activities. The introduction of hot desk areas, collaboration spaces, and a reimagined breakout area with added storage and seating encourages work flexibility. The intention was to create a dynamic, future-proof environment where team members could easily transition between different types of work, from solo projects to team meetings.
