From the outset, lighting was central to the design.

Against the dark, exposed ceiling, suspended LED lines cut across the venue in pink, purple and blue, creating a layered overhead feature that shifts as visitors move through the space. With services left exposed above, careful planning and coordination were required to integrate the lighting into the ceiling while maintaining the clean, considered composition set out in the design.

The reception establishes the mood on arrival. Illuminated signage, digital displays and a stainless steel counter sit against the dark backdrop, while neon lighting continues overhead and draws visitors further into the venue. Along the building's floor-to-ceiling windows, the bar and lounge provide a place to settle in between games. Deep lounge seating and layered furniture create a more relaxed setting, while suspended lighting brings the same energy overhead. At the bar, a custom circuit-board LED motif wraps the front, with illuminated shelving turning the bottle display into a feature of its own.

Throughout the venue, the fitout moves between open social spaces and more immersive environments. Dark finishes, rich colour and integrated lighting carry the design from one area to the next, creating a consistent visual language across the bar, lounge, arcade, mini golf and escape room experience. Delivering the project meant coordinating a significant number of custom elements alongside the practical requirements of a large-scale entertainment venue. From the exposed services and extensive lighting setout to the joinery, technology and specialist entertainment spaces, every element had to come together to bring the design to life.
