Background

Amicus' client Coface, a global leader in trade credit insurance, recognised that in the current Sydney property market a smaller floorplate and a shift to a more collaborative working environment would be an astute choice. 

 

Solution

Amicus’ Workplace Strategists played a key role in Coface’s workplace adjustment by undertaking an ethnographic analysis which is a study of the workplace and employee’s culture, customs, habits and mutual differences. This knowledge allowed for a better-informed design and understanding around day to day operations, activities and the ‘lived culture’ of the Coface Sydney Office.

The Amicus team discovered that there were space inefficiencies, and rather than transition to activity based working to suit a smaller floorplate, a more efficient design would be a more suitable solution.
