Our client is a growing investment and funds management business. Located on George Street in the Sydney CBD, the business was investigating the possibility of taking an additional floor to accommodate their expanding team. Our client wanted a workplace designed with a corporate lounge look and feel, with minimalistic decor to appeal to their client base and echo their brand identity. Amicus with design partner Liquid Design brought this vision to life through a contemporary and understated workspace for staff and clientele to enjoy.
The new office space is modern and refined to allow for elegant design features to stand out. The 500 sqm open plan office hosts a spacious reception area, kitchen, collaboration zones and 4 boardroom meeting spaces. The existing coffered ceiling presented a challenge in terms of acoustics, however, this was overcome through the use of soundproof glass in all meeting rooms. Curtains drape to accentuate the luxurious theme and add an extra element of privacy to meeting spaces. The reception area with exposed ceilings, vinyl timber flooring, chandelier light fitting and dark grey colour scheme are reminiscent of the luxe look and feel.
The client are thrilled with their new space and are proud to have client facing areas that speak to their brand. Employees were relocated within a tight timeframe and were engaged and motivated to use the new collaboration zones and meeting spaces. Amicus ensured the project was delivered on time and within budget.
