Background

The existing Hannah’s Shoes office in Breakfast Creek Brisbane felt industrial and cold. A far cry from the company brand and fashion house that it was representing in its day to day business. The company realised it was time they needed help and sought out Amicus for the office design and construction project and to align the new Brisbane City based HQ office with the company's values, To help retain great talent, location is important, moving the Brisbane head office closer to business amenities was a highly desirable change for the employees. Hannah's shoes took advantage of this and moved to a larger and more purpose-built building.

Solution

The new space is a full floor in the heart of Milton, close to cafes, shops and public transport. The new and exciting HQ needed offices, a supplier presentation room, a boardroom, workspace area, kitchen, shoe store rooms and a collaboration space for planning future lines.

The new "on brand" office fitout is a combination of neutral tones, whites, greys and browns making use of pops of colour for a bit of fun. The open plan kitchen creates a great breakout space with a variety of seating options great for in-house gathering or hosting events. Shoe inspired quotes by fashionistas have been added to the walls for a touch of daily inspiration and flare. Old carts from the shoe warehouse were utilised in the supplier presentation room, showing the heritage of the company and as design pieces for the office.

The new office speaks volumes for the brand that it houses. It is a place that inspires, and is inviting for employees and sets the tone for visitors, clients and suppliers.
