Our client is a leading Medical Device Manufacturer based in northern Sydney whose mission is to streamline patient care and improve outcomes through a comprehensive and high tech product offering. When their current location came to be redeveloped they needed a new site and engaged Amicus to maximise on the opportunity of a change in location by also transforming their office space and modernising their work style, improving productivity and collaboration in the process.
Sprawling over 1,500 sqm in a premium Macquarie Park address, the new workplace design, by Amicus design partner PTID, features a large showroom for full-scale product demonstrations that seamlessly flows from the rest of the office - itself a series of connected, flexible spaces that can accommodate anything from 1 or 2 people through to large training groups.
The centralised kitchen is a haven for staff to refuel and connect, making the most of the leafy treetop outlook. The main work space is extremely cohesive, and demonstrates the blended agile approach at its best. Staff have readily embraced the neighbourly feel of the new space and are loving their semi-open dedicated desks and the increased opportunities the design gives for collaboration.
