Specialist economic consulting and commercial advisory firm, NineSquared, engaged Amicus to refurbish their existing space that was due for a refresh. The main focus was on replacing all ceilings and flooring, transforming the current footprint and improving the employees' experience and satisfaction.
The Amicus team paid careful attention to creating a more productive and systematic work environment. It was all about finding the right balance between employee needs and the space available. The idea of a small office becoming more active by reducing the reliance on paper has led to the transformation of walls into writable surfaces, enabling teams to communicate in a more efficient way but keeping a traditional structure. A new breakout and lounge area were also created in order to attain the best collaboration possible among staff members. Amicus’ in-house Design team opted for a neutral colour scheme for the design, allowing the modern furniture to come to the forefront giving an inviting look and feel, an essential characteristic in a workplace. The new setting has also been fitted with new exposed ceilings and a fresh and simple flooring treatment, converting the old space into a modern and welcoming environment.
The new space provides a platform to take their business to the next level giving their team an environment to be proud of, and in turn a sense of purpose to stimulate the generation of new ideas through displayed thinking. NineSquared is also glad to welcome visiting stakeholders into the new space and to transmit a sense of freshness and professionalism throughout the new design.
