Background

Leading property developer Savills Investment Management were seeking to refurbish multiple tenancies in the 9th level of their building in Mascot. Amicus was commissioned to create stylish and functional offices that would attract a variety of prospective tenants.

Tenancy 3, 4 and 5 all needed to be distinctly unique yet interconnected by a stylish communal kitchen. The communal kitchen was designed to spark collaboration and creativity, capturing the vibrant energy of a co-working space while maintaining the exclusive feel of private offices.

Solution

The Amicus Design Team worked closely with Savills IM to ensure each tenancy offers a distinct contemporary aesthetic creating calm workspaces whilst boosting productivity and lateral thinking.

Tenancy 3 utilises raw materials and finishes to evoke a sleek design that is complimented by an array of natural light. These design motifs and workspace goals are echoed throughout the natural finishes used in Tenancy 4 but with muted tones to give each space a unique identity and feel. Tenancy 5 provides a seamlessly open and functional space designed with pale green undertones to contrast the flowy design and colour palette of the communal breakout area.

The outcome was a series of tenancies that redefined speculative suite workspaces, featuring a vibrant communal breakout area. Each space is meticulously designed to offer a dynamic and adaptable working environment, perfect for businesses embracing modern hybrid work styles. The design perfectly captured the Savills IM's brief, creating an interconnected tenancy level brimming with unique spaces, collaboration zones, and versatile meeting rooms. These tenancies are a testament to innovative office design, promising to inspire and attract a diverse range of tenants.
