Background

SHK is a specialist retained search firm focused on senior executive recruitment, career management and outplacement services. SHK engaged Amicus to design and construct a new 460 sqm office space to suit their new location in one of Melbourne’s most prestigious office buildings, the Rialto Towers. As part of their move, SHK's aspiration was to capitalise on the end of their office lease and create a modern spacious workspace that aligned more closely with their corporate image and represented the values of SHK in Melbourne.

Solution

The workspace design focus was on creating a spacious flexible space with high end detail in the front of house and reception areas. The selection of high quality finishes, SHK branding elements and panoramic views of the Yarra River, the front of house provides a welcoming, and executive suitable environment for conducting client meetings and potential candidate interviews.

Benefit

SHK’s new office space now offers a selection of intermit and large board rooms, an open collaborative office area and an expansive breakout area that ties all the spaces together, delighting both employees and clients. SHK staff are most excited about their new break out areas and the new more formal and modern front of house reception and lobby.
