Our Lab Furniture
  • Laboratory Benches & Tables
One of the key decisions in fabricating your new laboratory is identifying the right lab bench or table to meet both your needs and budget. Choosing the right benchtop is key to ensuring that the surface will meet the demands of your laboratory’s application.

There are several different options from chemical grade laminates on Aquaban, to compact laminates, stainless steel and polymeric surfaces (such as Corian).

We have over 40 years of laboratory experience and expertise which we draw upon to assist you in making the best decision on your lab tables and benches.
  • Lab Cupboards & Cabinets
We offer both customised and modular solutions to meet your varying requirements and budget. Cabinets are built from a variety of melamine-coated MDF boards, however other materials are available upon request. Metal laboratory cabinets are popular with certain applications.

    - Blum hinges are 170° concealed self-closing.

    - Drawers run on single extension, bottom fixed metal runners.
  • Balance Tables & Benches
We provide balance tables and balance benches manufactured with precision and perfection. We understand the importance of designing the most stable surface to balance precision instruments.

    - Balance benches are made out of 50mm powder coated SHS tubing with adjustable foot bolts.

    - We utilise 5mm vibration isolating pads between the frames and tops.

    - Standard tops are 70mm thick Terrazzo in selected colours
  • Reagent Shelving
Reagent Shelves are built with a lip on the shelving to help safeguard hazardous materials and glassware stored on the shelves. The key questions that need to be answered when designing a reagent shelf are:

    - Does the shelving need to be chemical resistant?

    - Do you want to run services through a cavity in the reagent rack’s shelving? Electricity, Data, Gas, Water?

    - Do the services need to be connected from the ceiling or the floor?

We will work with you to ensure a fit-for-purpose solution for your laboratory.
  • Laboratory Safety Cabinets
Our longstanding and enduring relationships, along with our buying power, ensure that we can offer our clients competitive priced safety cabinets from small under-bench units through to tall 250L safety cabinets. All safety cabinets supplied by Amicus Labline meet their respective Australian Standards. We source and supply:

    - Flammable Liquids Cabinets

    - Corrosive Substances Cabinets (both Metal and Polyethylene)

    - Toxic Substances Cabinets

    - Organic Peroxides Cabinets

    - Oxidising Agent Cabinets

    - Class 4 Dangerous Goods Cabinets
  • Laboratory Sinks & Taps
There is a wide range of lab sinks available. Sinks may be a simple off-the-shelf 304 grade stainless steel tub, but this really depends on the science discipline and the reagents and chemicals used in the laboratory. We can supply polypropylene laboratory sinks and/or design and manufacture bespoke marine grade (316) stainless steel to deal with even the most corrosive elements. Stainless steel is a popular choice for sinks, benches and splashbacks, particularly in sterile and high moisture environments.

Often there are requirements such as an extra deep tub to hold equipment or high stainless steel splashback, or a splash back to follow the contour of the pillars in the lab. We customise the solution and ensure the best fit for purpose laboratory for our clients.

Our Laboratory tap fittings range includes remote control, fume cupboard fittings and pure water tapware systems available in PVC, polypropylene and stainless steel. Custom manufacturing is also available.
  • Fume Cupboards & Fume Hoods
We have long standing relationships with leading Australian manufacturers of fume cupboards and fume hoods. We supply and install fume cupboards and hoods for schools, universities and commercial & industrial laboratories of all types. All fume cupboards and hoods are compliant to Australian Standard AS/NZS 2243.8 – 2006.

With over 30 years of experience in fume cupboard and hood supply and installation, we have the expertise to design a safe, compliant and cost-effective solution. This includes addressing the impact of negative airflow created from the operation of ducted fume hoods and cupboards in the laboratory.
  • Emergency Wash Equipment
In the design phase of any laboratory installation, hazard identification and mitigation plays a critical part. Safety showers and emergency eye wash equipment are often identified at this point.

Our extensive experience ensures we can identify and supply the ideal solution for your application.
