Wanting to appeal to a wide marketing of tenants looking for a CBD office location, Ashe Morgan engaged Amicus to design a speculative fit out, with a leasing strategy in mind, in the heart of the Brisbane CBD. Future working styles, flexibility and uniqueness, were at the centre of the project.
Our concept was to design a speculative fit out that incorporated a variety of different innovative work and meeting spaces, as well as latest working trends. We achieved this by working towards a generalised brief, that would provide a space that suited a wide range of companies, which was achieved through knowledge or market trends and insight into what tenants are looking for in office spaces.
We worked closely with the client to design an ideal space for the speculative fit out, as well as the ideal quantities and types of meeting rooms, workspaces and collaborative areas. We also set out to create a memorable and striking design, upon entry into the space and throughout, to set this space apart from others on the market.
From the lift lobby, a glimpse of the striking deep teal and cool timber feature desk are visible. Upon entering the space, visitors are greeted with warm tanned vinyl tones, bold organic artwork and a curved concierge point. From the waiting area onwards, space has been maximised through the use of large, curved walls to eliminate any sharp corners throughout. Furniture throughout the space follows these organic curves. A variety of formal meeting spaces, which leads through to a central kitchen & breakout. Flexibility was also important to maintain throughout the space – The concept was to create a layout that allowed the tenant to determine how much space they would take and where the inter-tenancy wall would be installed.
The fit out incorporates current and future ways of working, by offering a variety of spaces that cater to individual and focus work, collaboration among staff and both informal and formal meetings.
Creating a unique, bold and appealing space that would attract to a wide range of tenants and stand out from the crowd of other similar sized spaces on the market.
