Background
The Flybuys team had been located at a temporary serviced office for the last year which was cramped and did not complement their vision for a new way of flexible working. Staff were split across multiple levels, there were not enough meeting rooms, plus one small breakout area with no separation from the main workspace. Amicus worked with the Flybuys team to secure their new home within a heritage listed building for their 200 staff and the co-habiting Wesfarmer’s Advanced Analytics Centre (AAC). The AAC required a separate, secure working environment, which still provided visibility through the floorplan and access to shared facilities. There was a requirement to facilitate market research activities inhouse, inclusive of testing and observation rooms. The Amicus Workplace Strategy team provided Flybuys with the tools to navigate from a fixed desk work style to a flexible working model. Amicus took the client on a design and construct fitout journey to bring this model to life.
