Australia’s leading recruitment agency, McArthur, engaged Amicus with plans to update their 20-year-old office space and provide a new, energetic space to reward their staff with.
The Front of House was a key component of the brief; McArthur wanted to create a striking and welcoming entrance to evoke a sense of excitement and curiosity upon arrival. As a well-known HR consultancy, it was essential that the space captured the essence of McArthur’s brand and values.
Working seamlessly together, Amicus and McArthur built a strong relationship throughout the project. Providing a complete design and construction package, the final product encapsulates the original brief, pleasing both management and staff.
In collaboration with our interior design partner, Futurespace, a range of different spaces such as quiet pods, meeting rooms and communal break out spaces were incorporated into the design, inviting staff to experiment with a more flexible approach. Notable design features include a sleek finished front of house with soft detailing and simplified forms. In high-traffic areas streamlined partitions and natural finishes such as stone floors have been incorporated to create a professional and modern feel. The space also speaks to the exquisite views with natural light emphasising the office’s main features.
The office is now a vehicle for innovation and collaboration, motivating staff to utilise the space, whilst strengthening relationships among co-workers and boosting morale.
The refreshed space is a symbol of recognition and appreciation for their staff and as a result, provides a long-lasting reward. As a human-centred business, we were delighted to support McArthur in the journey to make their vision a reality.
