Case Study

AMP

33 Park Rd

Milton, Queensland
405 sqm
Completed 2023

Background

Amicus was engaged to revitalise the workspace at 33 Park Road, Milton. The Interior Design brief was to introduce a fresh and contemporary aesthetic of the speculative suite, aimed to deliver a hassle-free solution for businesses seeking an efficient and ready-to-use work environment.

The Amicus design concept revolved around incorporating strong, clean lines and a warm, natural colour palette to create an inviting atmosphere. Central to this vision was the desire to seamlessly connect the interior with an external terrace. The kitchen and breakout area were crucial points of this connection with optimised natural light. The design was intended to redefine the way employees work, fostering productivity and innovation in a dynamic urban landscape.

Solution

The design solution focused on seamless integration, optimised natural light, and a welcoming kitchen and breakout area. Flooring and finishes in the open plan facilitate a smooth transition between the interior and the external terrace. By harnessing the natural lighting available from the floor to ceiling glazing, the space feels inviting and takes full advantage of the scenic Western views of Brisbane. The kitchen and breakout area serve as the central hub, reimagined as a shared space that promotes socialisation. Careful selection of furnishes and joinery are complemented by a timeless palette embracing a subtle use of colour. The thoughtful design elements create a relaxed, lounge-like ambiance that enriches the overall user experience.

The space offers a mix of internal and external collaborative areas, private workstations, a sleek boardroom, and breakout area. Employees have the flexibility to choose the environment that best aligns with their specific tasks and work preferences.

In a market where occupiers rely on efficient solutions, its crucial partnering with a sharp operator. Amicus were quick to respond, and my client felt like they were in good hands for their office fitout.
